AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): No Neurosurgery Specialist is interested to come in Tripura to join in Govt service even at the salary of Rs. 3 lakhs per month.

However, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy has blamed Manik Sarkar behind that saying, "Nobody wants to step in Manik Sarkar's Golden State and if they step, Gold will turn into iron".

"We decided that Rs. 3 lakh will be paid to the Doctor and the Anesthetist will be paid Rs. 2 lakh, so that we don't need to send our patients to outside, but at the cost of Rs. 3 lakh per month also no doctor is interested to come here. Now, Govt thinking to raise the offers", he said.

Criticizing the previous Govt, Roy said, "Such a Golden era was given to the people that nobody dares to step in this state".

But reports says that even many high govt officials also frustrated under Biplab Deb's Govt, whereas few of IAS officers are trying to escape from Tripura.Biplab Deb's utterances and continuous suspension of the officials also are on air and at Secretariat there is hardly any scope to breath !
