BISHALGARH / AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): One TSR jawan has died unnaturally on Wednesday at Gokulnagar, in Bisalgarh.

The deceased has been identified as Basudeb Das (48), Jawan of TSR Bn 11.

The incident took place in the morning when he went to catch fish in a pond near Bishalgrah Rabindranath Tagore College.

The eyewitnesses said that immediately after taking him out of the water, they informed police.

Deceased’s wife Dipti Das has alleged negligence of fire brigade employees led his death.

However, whether it was a death or killing, police is investigating the case. Body has been sent for post mortem.
