AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Amid Tripura's garment business facing losses, but Tiranga business is on peak ahead of Independence Day, Swapan Saha a tailor of Agartala Kaman Chowmuhani market said on Wednesday who is in this business and well-known since many decades.
Each year, his picture comes in newspapers, magazines as he is the oldest businessman connected with tailoring. Saha said, many orders are pending for flag preparations amid other business are at loss. Infact this year, the orders are coming in more numbers in compare to other years.
This year, Independence Day will be celebrated for three days in Tripura. Total three days to mark the celebration this year (August 13 to August 15).
Various programmes to be conducted on these four days as : 1) Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, 2) Marathon, 3) Torch Run, 4) Football match, 5) Swimming competition, 6) Yoga, 7) Cultural Programme.
