AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): One day after Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb asked the bus drivers of the state to learn manners, they have shown thumbs to his lecture by shouting against the Transport Dept Officials.
The Transport Dept officials on Monday faced an attack by bus drivers, conductors at Nagerjala bus stand when they were labeling buses as "Mini" and "Ordinary" category.
When the Transport Dept officials were categorizing mini buses and ordinary buses on the basis of seat numbers, the ordinary bus drivers came with massive reactions against the Transport Dept officials.
More fresh allegations are coming from passengers that the bus drivers are carrying their own chart in the buses, whereas Govt has given a banner at Nagerjala stand with clear instructions of fares.
According to State Govt's notification buses with 35 seats are considered as Mini Buses and Ordinary Buses are which are having above 35 seats.
But today when few buses with above 35 seats were hanged with banners of Ordinary Bus, then the people engaged in those bus services removed that banner and they said, we have to know what is eligibility of mini bus nationwide.
