AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): In broad day light robbers attempted to snatch chain from a girl’s neck and injured her during the attempt.

The incident took place at Dhaleswar Road No-7, when 3 bikers in attempt of robbery attacked a girl, who was returning with her mother from Doctor Nirmala Malakar.

First the unknown robber stretched the chain, when  she caught the man, he pushed her at a sudden and she fell on road.

Then also he was trying to snatch the chain. With the two women’s shouting, local people rushed to the spot but already the robbers escaped in a bike.

The age of the robbers have been suspected as 18 to 19.
