AGARTALA, July 27 (TIWN): After a shop was looted here Nagerjala of Agartala the owner of the shop has accused police for being in nexus with thieves.
Talking to media, shop keeper Bacchu Datta said, “This is the fourth time that my shop has been looted. Each time I informed police. Police came and took notes but could do nothing”.
“Today, when I woke up, I found my room was locked by outside. Anyhow I came out of the room and saw nothing was taken away. I thought, thieves attempted to loot my house but failed”, he said.
“But after that when I went to the shop, I found everything is scattered inside and around 1 lakh rupees items have been taken away”, the shop-keeper said.
The shop-keeper further said, the thieves entered the shop by cutting the tin over the roof.
The locals have alleged, recently many thefts were done in this area, but police failed both in night duties and in investigation.
Shop keeper Bacchu Datta said, without police’s help such thefts can’t be done.
