AGARTALA (Mohanpur), July 26 (TIWN): Once again Mohanpur is in headline of state’s daily newspaper for crime reports. This time it happened after four rounds of firing sound hit the locals of there.
The increasing hands to hand pistols are haunting people Tripura now a days. However, nobody died in that incident, whereas one person has been arrested.
According to the information, on yesterday late night four friends : Ranabir, Uttam, Joy Gopal, Sujit, Ranju were busy in gossiping in a bamboo shop of a local Harekrishna Saha.
On that time Harekrishna Saha’s son Sujit Saha fired at Joy Gopal. Total four rounds of firing sound were heard even though nobody died in firing.
Locals immediately caught Sujit and sent him at Sedhai Police Station.
Resentments have brewed among the locals as pistols have become just like toys and available illegally to people.
Since 3 months, many firing incidents happened in Agartala. In each case, the pistols were found with youths illegally.
