UDAIPUR (Tripura), July 24 (TIWN): After BJP's Yuva Morcha leader Joylal Das asked BJP Youth activists to break hands and legs of CPI-M activists if CPI-M tries to "move back", a political clash has taken place at Udaipur of Gomati District in Tripura. Joylal also challenged, CPI-M will not be allowed to submit nomination papers in the Panchayat Election.
The rally was conducted as a part of Nation-wide protest of Left Parties.
Following the new trend in state, Police didn't give permission to CPI-M for holding rally at there. In this situation, CPI-M started the rally without permission.
When the rally was entering the New Town Road, they were attacked by miscreants in group. The activists escaped anyhow, whereas 7 to 8 CPI-M activists left injured. One police personnel was also injured during the clash.
Police is going file case against CPI-M leaders who participated in the rally, but nobody was arrested till now for the attack.
