AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): When opposition CPI-M activists have been beaten on the heart of Udaipur town, mob-lynching led mass killings, BJP leader Joylal Das's open threat to CPI-M was condemned in a protest before the Parliament on Tuesday, BJP in state has claimed Crime status is at down in Tripura.
Addressing in a press meet, BJP leader Pratima Bhowmik said, a recent data has revealed that Tripura downed from No-9 to No-5 in crime records.
The BJP leader also said, the way Chief Minister Biplab Deb is ruling in Tripura it’s just perfect and BJP is working in overall development proceeding to make a model state here.
On the other side, at least 7 CPI-M activists were injured during a rally at Udaipur subdivision.
A ‘dharna’ was staged before the Parliament today led by MPs of Tripura, Kerala, West Bengal and another separate protest was held at Parliament street, where CPI-M top leaders as Sitaram Yechury, Manik Sarkar have attended.
