AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): Chaos has hit Tripura’s one of the prominent colleges Ram Thakur College on Monday during admission hours.
Total 160 seats had been reserved for 1st year students and the admission is scheduled to be continued till 31st July, 2018.
Out of 160 seats, already 107 students have taken admission in the College.
Today a huge queue was witnessed for admission, whereas students had demanded to complete all of their admissions within today.
Centering this issue, students gheraoed the Principal of the College.
To control the situation police rushed to the spot and applied force.
The situation is still tensed as a huge numbers of students haven’t got chance for admission.
Ramthakur College, established in 1967, is a college in Agartala, Tripura. It offers undergraduate courses in arts and sciences. It is affiliated to Tripura University.
