AGARTALA, September 13 (TIWN): The High Court of Tripura would hear the case of mismanagement in medical seat distribution at the Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) on September 15 instead of September 17 as previously scheduled, court sources said.The High Court had sought reply of the Department of Medical Education on its decision of distributing seats of Medical Central Pool on the basis of reservation policy of the state in the context of a notification issued by the department stated that the seats of central pool would be distributed as per the reservation rule of state government.The decision was taken to facilitate timely completion of admission in MBBS curriculum within September 17 as prescribed by the Supreme Court of India, the source said.A division bench of High Court led by Chief Justice Deepak Gupta and SC Das earlier fixed September 17 for the final hearing. The High Court also asked to issue notice to the people interested in the case to be present in the next hearing.
