AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): No pension, No GPF do not mean new govt employees to be recruited by Tripura Govt will get 7th Pay Commission since Day-1, rather Govt in its notification No-F(8)1-FIN(G)/2004 (P-I)/108-305 has made it clear that fixed pays will be continued.
In the second page of the notification, it says while prescribing New Pension Scheme, “NPS is mandatory for all govt employees joined on 1st July or after that…..NPS is also mandatory for fixed pay employee under the state govt who are appointed to a fixed post under state govt who are being appointed to a fixed pay post created by keeping regular fixed pay post in abeyance on or after 1st July 2018”, the notification says.
It makes clear that the state govt to continue fixed scale jobs even though before the election BJP promised to remove fixed scale system which doesn’t exist in whole India.
