AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Tuesday has announced, state govt will develop a software e-Rakt Kosh which will maintain the transparency of the blood banks.
Addressing in a blood donation camp organized by Kalimata Sangha in Agartala, Barman said, “There are certain confusions where the donors bloods are going ? Why does blood-crisis still exist even after enough blood donation camps ?”
“To end such confusions and doubts govt is developing a software named e-Rakt Kosh through which everybody can get the blood banks’ storage record in his/her phone in each second”.
“How much of blood are preserving, how much are being used per day…….all will be visible and for that the user just have to download an app. In this way, blood bank records will be in your pocket and transparency will be maintained”, Sudip Barman added.
