UDAIPUR, July 10 (TIWN): 150 fishermen were provided with free fishing nets at Udaipur on Tuesday.

The programme was  conducted on the occasion of National Fishermen Day at Salgarah Community Hall of Tepania in Udaipur subdivision.

Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy handed over the nets to the farmers.

Criticizing the previous Govt, Roy said that Govt’s work was only in papers but in practical nothing was done for them.

“The earlier govt was expert in making fake records, whereas our govt is trying fully to uplift the farmers lives”, the Minister said.
