SOANMURA, July 9 (TIWN): A massive protest rally was conducted at Sonamura by opposition CPI-M on Monday.

Opposition leader Ex-CM Manik Sarkar led rally of CPI-M raised slogan in demand of ‘work’ and ‘food’.

The agitators marched a long rally, alleging work and food crisis ongoing in state, and further condemned the four months old BJP led state govt.

A deputation was placed to the SDM of Sonamura with the demands.

 CPI-M has alleged massive food crisis, work crisis in rural areas of Tripura has been fueled due to lack of MGNREGA works.

At the same time the party also condemned the terror, violence and  mob-lynching.
