AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): One police officer Parimal Debbarma was arrested in Tripura in illegal arm-smuggling racket on Sunday from Ambassa Railway Station, SP Dhalai Sudipta Sen said.

Getting informed via secret sources, Ambassa SDPO Pranab Debnath led police team raided in a train at Ambassa railway station.

In that raid, SPO of Jirania PS Parimal Debbarma, S/O- Nagendra Debbarma was caught with two 9 mm pistols, 20 rounds of cartridges.

SPO Parimal Debbarma is a resident of Balur Ban, West Distrcit.
