AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): With the announcement of 20 % fare hike, ‘Tripura Rajjya Motor Mazdoor Sangha’ has come with a massive rally today morning congratulating the state govt.
The 20 % fare hike came following the recent fuel hikes and as the vehicular warned the state govt to go in strike if the transport fare is not hiked.
However, whereas E-rickshaw and similar transporters will get the fare hike benefit or not, it’s not yet clear.
A massive rally was conducted today morning, congratulating the state govt for the fare hike.
The last fare hike happened in 2012, during CPI-M Govt’s time.
