Education Minister got ‘bitter experiences’ from School visits

AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath was extremely disappointed after visiting schools in Agartala.
Addressing media after the visit, Ratan Lal Nath said if this is the condition of town areas schools and Sishu Bihar like schools, what will be condition of rest of Tripura’s schools.
“I can not develop everything in one day, but today also certain steps will be taken. Our aim is not to punish the teachers but to develop their work cultures”, Ratan Lal Nath told media.
The Education Minister further blasted teachers saying in Sishu Bihar school, it was seen that union’s festoon have been hanged in a class.
"From mid-day meal to all, massive lootings are going on violating the Right to Education norms", he said.
