Agartala, September 10 (TIWN): Polio drops claims life of 4 months child at Khowai’s Behulabari. 5 more admitted in the Hospital. The administrative authority and the Police remain silent.

According to the police sources, on Monday Suman Telenga’s 4 months child Shrimati Telenga was given polio drop. After returning home the child feels abnormalcy. Immidiately she was shifted to Khowai hospital. After one day treatment Dr.Malabika Debbarma declares her as dead on 9^th September. The family members of the deceased claimed that Shrimati was given expired poli drop by MPW Kiran Debbarma. Still now the authority did not take proper steps against the accused Kiran. It is to be mentioned that kiran Debbarma is the MPW of Birbahubari Anganwadi centre. 5 more children were admitted to the hospital.

Tension has gripped in the whole area regarding this incident. People lost faith of the Anganwadi Centre. The family of the child mourns over the death and demanded proper action against the accused.
