AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Tripura Ex-Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha in a reaction to Health Minister Sudip Barman’s claim whether TMC is a govt or a private college, said, “It’s a private college but under the BJP Govt it has become fully private control in corporate style”.

Talking to TIWN, Bhanu Lal Saha on Saturday said, “Even though TMC is private but in our time, we kept the fees in limits but now at a jump it has gone at Rs. 38 lakhs. It’s only about poor people to get relaxation. Can a middle class family bear the expenses ?”

“Govt should have control over the fees”, Saha told TIWN further adding “TMC is private college”.

TIWN further asked Bhanu Lal Saha whether a BJP MLA can be the chairman of a private College run society ? Bhanu Lal Saha in reply said, “Yes he can”.
