AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Congress students wing NSUI has gheraoed Chief Minister Biplab Deb's residence today protesting against the massive fee hike if Tripura Medical College.
NSU activists staged demonstrate in front of CM's quarter, raised condemn slogans.
Police had immediately arrested all the activists and later released.
Tripura Medical College which was considered by masses as Govt undertaken College has been announced by Health Minister Sudip Barman as a fully private and govt has no control over it.
The course fee of MBBS was hiked at Rs.38 lakhs which till day was Rs 22 lakhs.
On Friday in the Assembly there was an exchange of debates among ruling BJP and opposition CPI-M centering the free hike.
