AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has ordered probe in SC, ST Dept led fund utilization under CPI-M Govt’s era.

Biplab Deb was addressing in the Assembly on the 4^th day of the budget session and charged the opposition CPI-M for doing irregularities with central funds when CPI-M was in power. 

CM said, it has been seen that massive irregularities were done during CPI-M era in case of SC/ST fund utilization.

"Instead of using the fund for SC, ST welfare the Govt was using them in other fields as Jail Dept etc", he said. 

“This is the chief reason why SC, ST have remained undeveloped in Tripura”, CM added.
