SONAMURA, June 20 (TIWN): One ganja smuggler has been arrested from Anandanagar, under Sonamura subdivision.

Getting informed via secret sources, police raided Billal Mia’s home on yesterday night and recovered 300 kilo of ganja.

Sonamura police have informed, Billal Mia used to keep those ganja in underground.

Total 8 drums of ganja was recovered by digging the soil of his house.

Police also informed that from night 12 O’clock to 4 am this raid was conducted by police led by Sonamura police station OC-Paritosh Das.

Billal Mia has been arrested and the worth of the seized ganja will be atleast 5 lakh, said Sonamura OC.
