UDAIPUR (Tripura), June 20 (TIWN): In a domestic elephant’s attack a 26 years man has died pathetically on Wednesday morning in Northeast state Tripura.
The deceased has been identified as Barjasadhan Jamatia (26), resident of Udaipur subdivision’s Maharani area’s Anukul Coloni.
Like everyday Barjasadhan Jamatia along with his assistant Kabir Mia was going for work with his own domestic elephant.
But when Barjasadhan Jamatia stopped the elephant to give money to Kabir Mia for a work, the elephant turned wild and attacked Barjasadhan Jamatia with its truck.
After that continuously the elephant hit Barjasadhan and injured him with its tooth and escaped in a jungle.
Kabir Mia was also injured in that incident. Tensions have gripped Maharani area with the elephant had turned violent.
