AGARTALA / DHARMANAGAR, June 20 (TIWN): BJP leaders led by Pratima Bhowmik have met Suman Debnath, attacked photo-journalist of TIWN, News Vanguard, Sandyan Patrika at Dharmanagar hospital on Tuesday.

BJP leaders asked Suman in details about the whole incident and took notes.

A team of journalists from Agartala also have rushed to Dharmanagar hospital to meet Suman. After talking to Suman they met SP Manik Das at his office.

FIR had been lodged by Suman against Mihir Deb, Simin Ahmed under Sections 325,307,386, 34 (IPC).The incident took place on yesterday night at around 10.45 pm night when Suman was returning from Shanichara. 

As soon as when Suman reached Indian Oil Depo Simin Mia called him and requested him to go inside the vendor. After entering the shop he attacked Suman with sharp weapon. Along with him, another Mihir Deb was present any anyhow Suman survived himself and rushed to Dharmanagar District hospital.

Mihir Deb has already been arrested whereas Simin Mia is absconding.
