AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): 1267 irregular jobs likely to be terminated as all have been announced as "Illegal". Those jobs were provided by CPI-M Govt without any permission from the Finance Dept. The Assembly Session which has been started from today raised many issues and out of them this particular issue has received most highlights. Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma said, "In CPI-M Govt's era those jobs were provided on contractual basis but no legal procedures were followed in those recruitment. Thus the state govt is announcing those jobs as illegal". Finance Minister's announcement was supported by all BJP MLAs and BJP MLA Asish Saha also hit the CPI-M for their continuous rule-breaking in recruitment. Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma also said, proper investigation will be done in this issue and it will be probed why such a massive irregularity took place. This news will generate tension among the contractual employees, who were promised by the BJP before election that once BJP in power all contractual employees will be regularized. Till now under BJP Govt above 1600 jobs are on the verges of losing. Instead of taking action against the corrupt officials who were involved in illegal recruitment, BJP Govt's faster steps in job-cutting are hitting the job holders.
On the other side, CPI-M Govt's 25 years irregularities are now turning heavy upon the common people.
