AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): The flood situation is worsening at Agartala led people in many parts to take shelter in relief camps.

In Chandrapur area, people are taking shelter in relief camps since yesterday night, but no relief camp has been opened till now. 

Rescue operation team is in action to control this emergency situation.

On the other hand due to overflowing water river banks of Howarh river are facing dangers and the number of flood affected people are also increasing at the same time.

Transport over National Highway across Chandrapur was also heavily disrupted in the flood.
