AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Tripura to witness wrath against Bengalis led by Ex-Militants backed tribal regional parties as IPFT-Tipraha, INPT etc. However, motto behind such hard anti-Bengali movements have been identified as to fight back NC Debbarma led IPFT's increasing base in Tripura. With NC Debbarma and other IPFT top leaders have been in Govt high positions, other regional parties are undergoing existential crisis and that's the main reason that small regional parties are coming with strange demands as NRC from 1949 or NRC from 1951.Addressing in a press conference IPFT Tipraha leader Bijay Debbarma on yesterday said, "NC led IPFT came in power by promising Tipraland to people. Only because of Tipraland, NC Debbarma came in power".
"But today after coming in power and getting Ministry, NC Debbarma forgot his promise. Till day in hills he tells people about Tipraland and in plain areas he never mentions about it", Binay Debbarma said.
"It was said as soon as IPFT will come in power, Tipraland will be given. We now demand that in the next Assembly Session, the Tipraland bill also should be passed", he said.
The IPFT-Tipraha also will launch a protest demanding Tipraland and NRC from 1949, 15th October. They also demanded to remove non-tribals from ADC area.
After a group of tribal youths named ‘Twipra Dophani Sikla Srwngnai Motha’ demanded that from 1949 the Govt should start the NRC for Tripura, now INPT which missed the alliance with BJP ahead of Assembly Election with IPFT’s intrusion has demanded to get rid of all Bengalis who came after 1951 in Tripura.
The leaders are much aware about the impossible outcomes of their demands but to gain the political focus and to mislead the tribals once again Ex-MLA Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl has called media today at Press Club declaring they want NRC from 1951.
However, when state’s ADC areas are suffering from starvation and poverty, ethnic sentiments are trying to be pushed by INPT in the name of Democracy.
The NRC demanding leaders now a days are not even obeying the democracy and unready to accept India’s “Unity in Diversity” rule, but in the name of democracy their attempts of mislead the generation has been continuing. This is the reason, till day why Northeast people face the alienation when they stay outside the state.
But instead of focusing on tribal development, few impossible and well-cooked stories have been distributed by INPT today even after being 100 % aware about the Indira-Mujib deal.
Now, such regional parties have become another big challenge for the BJP Govt when they are already in alliance with separatist IPFT (main).
