AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): Tripura Doctors-interns have sat in strike demanding to hike their stipends.
Claiming much work-loads, they have demanded a salary hike from Rs 18,000 to Rs. 24,000.
The interns’ point stand valid on ground if compared with other states where their attendance was overlooked by medical department of state officials.
The demonstration was staged under the banner of ‘Nationalist Doctors’ Association of Tripura’.
