AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): After losing Helicopter hopping CM’s post, Manik Sarkar has once again proved that he is no ‘communist’ but a luxury loving pseudo-communist who prefers to publicize as ‘Comrade’ but actually a ‘Capitalist’ by his behaviors. In 3 months as Opposition Leader, Manik Sarkar not only requested a luxary vehicle for his comfort but failed to visit even once the sufferings of people in Hilly and remote areas. Water scarcity, starvation deaths among Hill area Tripuri people failed to draw attention of luxary loving ‘Poor’ Ex-CM Manik Sarkar. After 3 months, Manik Sarkar’s failure as Opposition Leader now forcing CPI-M party to rely upon MP Jiten Chaudhury to act main Opposition Leader. Quite surprisingly, Manik Sarkar failed to criticize Biplab Deb Govt’s inefficiency even once for various failures ranging from arranging MGNREGA Mandays to eradicating poverty in Hilly areas.

At the mass starvation level in the deep ADC areas, dumping all jobs upon the GMP leaders, Manik Sarkar is far from the ground reality. Even though he visited some spots where party offices were demolished but he never met the suffered people in the rural areas after the election.

Today Gana Mukti Parishad led by MP Jiten Choudhry met Chief Minister Biplab Deb.The GMP leaders told Chief Minister, BJP-IPFT came in power with multiple promises they made to the people. Even though the Govt is new but its working just at opposite direction of what it had promised.

Across the state restless situations are existing. Democratic rights of various political parties are being snatched. People are unable to work freely and their democratic rights are under threat. But when his party activists are striving for poor people’s rights, Ex-CM Manik Sarkar just remained failure to become a good ‘Opposition Leader’.

Sarkar till day since the election visits his comrades and sometimes addresses in rallies just like Central leaders Sitaram Yechury, Prakash Karat visits in state.

When comrades are being attacked in various spots of the state, Manik Sarkar is adjusting everything at the cost of his luxurious life.

Ex-CM’s lameduck attitude raising questions whether his air-conditioned luxury, Govt vehicle sealed his mouth against  criticizing Biplab Govt’s various failures ?
