AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Bulldozing of party offices made over govt lands have been continuing in Northeast state Tripura led by the BJP Govt.
The bulldozing drive which was started by the newly formed BJP Govt was followed by a cabinet meeting.
On Friday the drive began at Kumarghat subdivision since early morning.
At the same time Congress party offices demolitions are also going on.
Recently CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar raised question, why no BJP, IPFT party offices were bulldozed in Tripura.
“Even after our demonstrations also the bulldozing had been continuing”, Dhar said.
Shankar Prasad during a demonstration at Agartala organized by CPI-M’s trade union CITU said, “Tripura’s democracy has been looted under the BJP-IPFT Govt”.
Congress State President Birjit criticized BJP alleging for creating unrest across the state after the election but Congress helped the common and attacked people every time and as a result they joined Congress.
"We have been defeated in the last election that is true but now BJP's real face is coming out. How they made such a cruel decision to demolish party offices ? Congress is taking legal actions against the BJP Govt", Birjit Sinha told media.
