AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): “Tripura has much possibilities in tourism industryâ€, said President of India Ram Nath Kovind during his visit in Tripura.
“Due to lack of enough connectivity and opportunities for travelers ease, the tourism could not develop in Tripura. But now under the Govt of India connectivity is boosting and as soon as Tripura will be linked in all sides including ease connectivity with South East Asia via Bangladesh, then communication will not be a matter at all”, he said.
“Also Govt is renovating the tourism centres and for tourists comforts special initiatives are being taken”, Kovind said.
Ram Nath Kovind also advised the govt of Tripura to preserve the forest, greenery and utilize them setting example before the country.
