AGARATALA, May 24 (TIWN): Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India who had arrived in Tripura on yesterday has returned Delhi via morning flight.
Naidu visited the state to attend the 11th convocation of Tripura University.
Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu is the Vice-President of India, since 11 August 2017. Grand welcome ceremonies were conducted on Naidu's arrival at Agartala Airport and at the University.
Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu while delivering speech at the 11th convocation of Tripura University stressed upon the importance of Women Education and Women Empowerment.
The Vice President also urged University students never to forget own mother and also the Nation i.e. ‘Bharat Mata’. Also Naidu asked students to love their mother-tongue and honour it till the last breath.
