AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday while addressing at Agartala Railway Station on the occasion of Humsafar Express's second service inauguration said, soon Tripura Sundari Express and Rajdhani Express to function twice a week.

"I have already requested the Railway Minister Rajen Gohain regarding this and in front of him, I am assuring that the service will be launched soon and people of Tripura will get the facilities of Express trains twice a week", CM said.

"I requested the Minister to make a stoppage arrangement at Ambassa. He also has fulfilled that demand", CM said.

"It signifies Modi Govt is sitting to give for Tripura. Just one request is more than enough. The Govt is ready to give Northeast central funds", CM said.

CM was addressing on the occasion of Humsafar Express's inauguration at Agartala Railway Station. The service was developed as biweekly from once a week.

Now the Humsafar express will start from Agaratala Railway Station on each Tuesday and Saturday. On the other side, Humsafar will leave from Bangalore on each Tuesday and on Friday towards Agartala.
