AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): Out of the total estimated budget around Rs. 50 crores, Rs. 34 crores were already sanctioned by the Central Govt, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb told media after a meeting at Udaipur regarding Matabari development.
Addressing the media after the meeting held at Udaipur regarding Matabari development, the Chief Minister said, govt is now focusing basically on the electricity, CCTV cameras and safety, drinking water facilities and tourists comforts.
The crucial meeting was conducted on Monday at Udaipur by Chief Minister Biplab Deb in the presence of Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and other leaders and Chief Secretray Sanjeev Ranjan.
Recently during Hapania Ambedkar’s rural fair inauguration on May 12, CM said that Rs. 50 crores were approved by the central govt.
However, TIWN source said, the important points of today's meeting’s discussion were 1) 17 Acre lands to be recovered, 2) Cleanliness drives across Matabari, 3) Drinking water facility, 4) Lighting arrangement, proper electricity, 5) Connecting Bhuwaneswari temple with Matabari, 6) Launching CCTV camera, 7) Development of Kalyansagar, 8) Planning led by Expert committee, 9) Direct connectivity with Airport, 10) Security arrangements etc.
