Social organization comes forward to help flood victims

AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): Lions club members have forwarded their helping hands to the flood victims here in Agartala.
On Monday even though some relief camps were closed, but place to place the Lions Club members distributed food, water to the flood victims.
The state govt is also in full support and taking care of the flood victims.
Meals arrangements have been done for the each flooded areas people at the relief camps by state govt. The home returnees from camps are also joining back the camps for lunches and same will be done with dinner.
West Dist DM Sandeep Mahatme said, total 36 camps are still open at the AMC wards and 3 more at Jirania.
