AGARTALA, May 19 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M observed Vietnam's political leader Ho Chin Minh's 127th birth anniversary on Saturday at the Melarmath party office.
Addressing media CPI-M state Secretary Bijan Dhar said, “In our student life we uttered everyday Ho Chin Minh’s name and the country for which he dedicated his life Vietnam. Today on the occasion of his birth anniversary CPI-M has paid tribute to the great leader”.
“He was a revolutionary, the savior of Vietnam and the warrior against capitalism. He fought against the capitalism of Japan, America and other countries and freed Vietnam from Capitalism”, Dhar said.
Hồ Chí Minh (19 May 1890 – 2 September 1969) was a Vietnamese Communist revolutionary leader. He was a key figure in the foundation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945, as well as the much popular leader during the Vietnam War, a war with the help of Communist countries against America.
