AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): Tripura Congress once again on Friday has come in protest in front of the Congress Bhawan with slogans of ‘Save Democracy, Save Country’ from the Modi Govt.The issues which Congress had raised today for the protest included Karnataka poll results issue, Tripura Party offices demolitions, alleged violence across the state, not permitting opposition for protest, silence against IPFT etc.Gopal Roy who on yesterday accused Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala as a ‘rapist’ of democracy, today also has repeated the same.“Vala has been the Finance Minister of Modi’s cabinet for 9 years. So, he is just a puppet of Modi and acting accordingly. He was also the speaker of the Assembly at Karnataka. So, it is very clear that he is nothing but just a Puppet of the BJP”, Roy added.“If at Manipur and Goa, BJP, Meghalaya BJP can make Govt why not at Karnataka ? This is totally a rape of the democracy by Modi’s pet cum Karnataka Governor”, Gopal Roy said.Congress also demanded reviews the Goa, Manipur Election results.

The party leaders also raised the party offices demolition issue, the issue of yesterday rally and the arrest, where no food or water even were served after the arrest.
