AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): One dead body has been recovered from Howrah river on Thursday afternoon at Battala area.

The deceased has been identified as Nani Rishi Das, resident of Agartala Pratapgarh. 

Before  3 days, Nani Rishi Das went missing and also a missing diary was  registered in the local police station.

After much searches also he was not found. 

Today locals saw a dead body below the Howarh river bridge. 

NDRF team rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body. However, no upper injury was found on his body.

But, whether the deceased is actually Nani Rishi Das or not, it has not been officially declared yet.
