AGRTALA, May 17 (TIWN): Bus drivers at Nagerjala bus stand came in protest today morning alleging one mafia Babul Ghosh led money extortion attempt.

The protests led a chaos in the bus stand as bus driver stopped vehicle movement totally which also hit the long journey travelers.

According to the agitators, the mafia Babul Das was forcefully collecting money from the bus drivers and others.

Protesting against this illegally money extortion, the bus drivers and other workers suspended the bus service for all routes demanding the arrest of the mafia immediately. 

The drivers also said, they do not know who is Babul Ghosh, but he is gathering money illegally. A section of people came to make the agitators understand the passengers troubles, but the drivers blasted them back.

Unless and until Babul Das will be arrested no vehicle will run on road from Nagerjala bus stand, the agitators said.
