AGARTALA, May 16 (TIWN): One liquor shop was looted at Agartala on Tuesday night.

The shop is located at Lal Matia in the Gol Bazar area, on the heart of the capital city.

The shopkeeper Ashok Saha said that in the morning when he opened the shop, found it was looted.

Cash Rs. 50,000 were taken away, whereas more Rs. 60,000’s liquors have been looted.

Amid many thieves’ arrests in last few days, the trends of thefts didn’t end. Lack of security hence also matters.

Police have noted the complaint and investigation has been started.
