AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): 21 Sector Assam Rifles as part of its endeavour to take beneficial Government Schemes to the common masses in remote areas, falicitated opening of Sukanya Samridhi accounts for benefit of girl child at Thaiplok Phang village in West Tripura district on 10 May 2018 . A total of 300 people including women and village elders attended event.

The workshop was  aimed at enlightening the locals  about the importance of women empowerment. The local bank officials of SBI and Post Office were part of this noble drive.

The genuine approach of Assam Rifles to enlighten remote villages was applauded by all.
