AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): CPI-M has protested against the petrol price hike here in Tripura on Tuesday.
A conference was held at the DC office in Agartala to protest against the increasing price hike of the petrol and diesel.
Addressing the hall, CPI-M leader Rama Das said, “This price hike in petrol is nothing new. Since the Modi Govt had come in power the petrol prices are in hike”.
“The govt doesn’t listen to anybody but a one-way ruling is continuing since 2014”, she said.
“In the last four years, the BJP govt has spread only communal violence and the minorities are left totally deprived”, she said.
Rama Das also said that CPI-M has sought permission for a protest rally in Agartala but didn’t get permission for it. As a result this hall was booked for the protest.
