AGARTALA, May 7 (TIWN): Slamming the new Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb, Congress President Birjit Sinha called him once again ‘Gyan Papi’. Addressing media in front DM Office of West Dist where Congress had gheraoed the DM following the bulldozing off party offices at Old Motor Stand, Birjit Sinha said, “Instead of providing jobs to youths, he offers ideas of Paan-shops opening and cow-breeding. To cover up all his Gyans (knowledge) he is now doing all these madness, indeed he is a great-Gyan papi, crossed beyond Hindi movie’s Nayak’s role, which was played by actor Anil Kapoor’.The Congress activists, leaders had gheroaed the DM Office of West Dist in Agartala following the party offices demolition at Old Motor Stand.On the other side, CPI-M Ex-Minister Manik Dey, MP Shakar Prasad Datta visited the spot at Motor Stand where at least 10 party offices, shops were demolished.

 Manik Dey told media, “The situation is worse than emergency time as in emergency time also they didn’t break this party office. In emergency time, police came to take action, but after our request, they didn’t take action. Today under the BJP Govt without giving any proper time and notice, they are demolishing party offices and that's what the BJP Govt is".

On yesterday calling a press conference Birjit Sinha said, “We will never allow to destroy our party offices like this. The party offices are not newly built but since decades the offices are here. They have to give us proper placement in exchange of party offices demolition”.

Today after the party offices were demolished in the early morning, Birjit Sinha said, “This Chief Minister Biplab Deb is a Gyan Papi, acting like a mad’.  Police have arrested all of the Congress activists immediately after the gherao had paralyzed the administration.

However, most of the public are happy with the demolition activity led by the BJP Govt.
