AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): Tripura Judicial officers are bound to live in rents due to lack of proper accommodations, such has been claimed by Tripura High Court Chief Justice Ajay Rastogi on the occasion of 5th Tripura conclave of Judiciaries at the High court.
Addressing on that occasion, the Chief Justice said, “It has been seen, due to lack of proper accommodations, Judicial Officers who are working across Tripura are bound to live in rents. Why it should happen ? We are not demanding too high, but a basic living-condition should be provided to them”.
“Otherwise, I am not going to appoint my staffs.......”, the Chief Justice added.
On the other side, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Sunday while addressing on the occasion of 5th Annual Conclave of Judicial Officers of Tripura at the High Court has asked the Chief Justice Ajay Rastogi to form 8 Judicial Districts in Tripura as Tripura right now has 5 Judicial Districts.
Addressing on that occasion, Biplab Deb said, “A freed and fair judiciary act is an effective balanced mechanism and has been an exclusive mean for the democracy. In the 5 years journey of High Court in Tripura, the Tripura High Court has given landmark judicial decisions, which proves that proper coordination among the judiciaries is extremely necessary for smooth functioning of the justice system".
