AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): Govt to recover illegally occupied govt lands by political parties within a week. With a bold move the state government has ordered political parties to release all the illegally occupied lands by their party offices.
In a press conference, West DM Millind Ramteke has asked all the political parties to leave party offices built over govt lands under the West Dist or the administration has to take action.
Noteworthy, in the last 25 years under the left regime various party offices were allegedly built on the govt lands. Few were developed into tall buildings.
However, the BJP govt has ordered all political parties to release all such illegally occupied govt lands.
