AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday while addressing at Civil Service Day-2018, said that Doctors and Engineers can function in better way in Civil Service as they have extra skills.

CM was addressing at Pragna Bhawan on the occasion of Civil Service Day-2018 on Friday.

Describing the importance of being ‘all-rounder’ Biplab Deb said, “If a civil Engineer becomes IAS, s/he can add additional instruction regarding building construction, whereas a mechanical engineer can’t”.

“If s/he is a doctor, if anybody becomes sick, then the knowledge will work-out as immediate action. In case of any successful person including cricketers, you have to be all-rounder”, CM said.

The Chief Minister also claimed that civil service officials are more duty bound than a politicians, as they only can build a better administration and the Chief Minister alone can not.
