AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): 21 Sector Assam Rifles participated in Multi State Mock Exercise along with other emergency departments like Tripura Fire Service, Directorate of Health, PWD, NDRF, CAPF's and NGOs on 26 Apr 2018 at all the districts of Tripura.

As the state of Tripura is highly prone to natural calamities, the mock exercise was based on the response mechanism in case of an earthquake. Damage to various public and residential buildings was simulated .

Assam Rifles columns participated along with other emergency services  assisting in  search and rescue as also provision of immediate medical aid.
