AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): The Communists leaders of Tripura accepting their small areas of existence, said their alliance with Congress is a part of keeping their existence alive India’s political map.
Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar in a press conference said, “The relation between CPI-M and Congress is not at all Political, but Electoral”.
“We are very small in size. At the national level Congress and BJP are only existing. Our area is very small and also there are many regional parties allover India. In this condition to make a strong base against BJP Govt we have to support Congress, but it doesn’t mean there is any ideological similarity among CPI-M, Congress", Dhar told TIWN.
“Both Congress and BJP are parties of capitalism, but we are the not”, said Dhar.
