AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): Capital City’s many areas like Dasamighat, Ganaraj Chowmuhani are suffering from long power cut since yesterday night and today also till the noon the power was not returned; according to the last information.

Dasmighat's long-shutdown condition is since few days, whereas the power was collapsed at Ganaraj Chowmuhani on yesterday night.

Resentments have brewed among the locals as since one month the power cut problem has been increased a lot. Earlier also the problem was huge, but now it’s become worst.

The whole night the Dasamighat, Ganaraj Chowmuhani areas people couldn’t close their eyes due to heavy temperature.

In other subdivisions also the frequent power cut problem has been increased more than before.

Earlier, it was said that within 2 hours of any problem related to electricity it will be solved. It was also promised that if within 6 hours the problems can’t be solved the govt will suspend TSECL officers, but the power dept is totally failed to diminish the power cut problem. However under VVIP category, the Ministers in the country never face power cut problems.
